We are dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Ghana through education and nutrition. Too many children face the daily reality of food insecurity, forcing them to work to help support their families instead of attending school. Our mission is to provide reliable access to nutritious meals and educational opportunities for children in the Anomabo Village, empowering children to learn, grow, and build brighter futures. By addressing both hunger and education, we are helping children stay in school and reach their full potential. #Back2School
Restoring Health
& Dignity
We work alongside local NGOs and the leaders of the Ankaful Leprosy Community to expand sustainable access to nutritious food, clean water, and essential healthcare to members of the Ankaful Village. This partnership focuses on meeting urgent daily needs while strengthening long-term access to basic services. Our goal is to support a deeply stigmatized community with greater safety, dignity, and stability in everyday life.
Supporting Artistry That Sustains Communities
We've met some incredible artists during our time in Ghana. With limited consumers due to the extensive poverty in the area, we support these artisans by pre-selling their clothing, artwork, handbags, and jewelry ahead of our trip. We collect the local craftsmanship and distribute them once we've returned to the US. These talented and generous artisans are very active in their community and all donate a percentage of their earnings to the Ankaful Leprosy Community.
